Travel Must Haves:

Travel Essentials

  • Backpack or carry-on bag for your materials
  • Comfortable clothing for the journey, including a sweater or jacket for different classroom climates
  • Comfortable shoes for walking between sessions and exploring the summit venue
  • Travel-sized, or inflatable, neck pillow for travel comfort
  • Reusable water bottle to stay hydrated during the day
  • Energy-boosting snacks such as granola bars or trail mix for sustained focus

Electronic Devices and Other Supplies

  • Laptop and/or tablet for quick access to presentations and interactive sessions as well as in-flight research, note-taking, and workshop activities
  • Cell phone to stay connected with fellow attendees and for capturing memorable moments
  • Chargers to keep your devices fully charged for the duration of the summit
  • Notebooks, pens, and/or pencils (if you prefer traditional note-taking during workshops)

  • Get creative and embrace the airport theme: think pilot hats, aviator sunglasses, or airport security-inspired accessories 
  • Earplugs, earbuds, or noise-cancelling headphones for a quiet zone as you travel and attend workshops

Boarding Pass, Map, and Schedule

When your chaperones check-in, they will be receive:

  • Printed or digital copies of your registration, or boarding pass
  • Your nametag, which will have a QR code on the back linking to a digital handbook with a schedule and map of the venue to plan your academic itinerary
